Grimes, IA – The Republic Companies, an Iowa based electrical and mechanical distributor with a 107- year-old legacy of serving Midwestern contractors, is thrilled to announce the grand opening of its expansive distribution center and state-of-the-art HVAC and electrical training facility—serving Central Iowa from its location in Grimes. The grand opening is scheduled for Thursday, August 17th 11AM – 5PM at their new location: 1400 SE 19th Street Suite 525, Grimes, Iowa.

Republic’s new facility marks a pivotal opportunity for Midwest HVAC and electrical contractors. Spanning an impressive 22,500 square feet, this new facility is designed to be a hub of innovation, training, and progress. The 2,500-square-foot training lab, equipped with 18 stations, will become a haven for contractors seeking to elevate and expand their skills.

In the words of Todd Wade, President of Republic’s Mechanical Division, “In the HVAC and electrical world, training has never been more important for our dealers to use and to develop their staff than it is today and will be for the foreseeable future.” The grand opening of this new facility marks an exciting milestone in the company’s 107-year-old timeline. “It’s really a testament to Republic’s unwavering commitment to providing our customers with the tools, resources, and support they need to be successful,” Wade went on to explain.
